Project Coordinator

Working closely with clients and members across the organization, this individual will have the opportunity to achieve their true potential by overseeing project success. The Project Coordinator is the main point of contact for the customer throughout the sales and installation process; they contribute to the goal of providing the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing project timelines, budget, and client satisfaction throughout the project. Additionally, you will interface with the Lead Installer and field crew to identify and resolve any issues.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and resolve problems while providing exceptional customer service

  • Manage vendors

  • Work directly with furniture manufacturers / rep groups, project managers, leads, and logistic companies

  • Report to upper management

  • Coordinate projects from time of quote request to the time of invoice

  • Create cost estimates

  • Offload trucks that arrive at the warehouse (as needed)

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience coordinating projects

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

  • Attention to detail

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks

  • Customer service experience

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure

  • Professional demeanor

  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a group environment

  • Understanding of profit margins

  • Ability to manage customer expectations while providing excellent customer service

Preferences:

  • Previous experience managing vendors

  • Knowledge of office furniture

  • General knowledge of construction process

  • QuickBooks
